Any patient who has been diagnosed with a PFO should not have any dental work done for 30 days prior to the procedure. If dental work has occurred less than 30 days before the scheduled procedure, we will reschedule the procedure.Patients are at risk for Bacterial Endocarditis if dental work is performed less than 30 days before the procedure. |
